Our Mission

The Oklahoma City Police Foundation is committed to enhancing the endeavors of the Oklahoma City Police Department. Our mission involves providing both financial and non-monetary resources that align closely with the department's mission and vision. Essential equipment, specialized training facilitation, and financial backing for programs fostering strong police-community relationships are key components of our support. We also play a crucial role in bridging resource gaps within the department's annual budget, sponsoring activities like the annual awards banquet, and offering wellness resources for employees facing personal challenges or significant life events.

Underlining our commitment to addressing the true needs of the officers in the field, it is the frontline officers who submit grant requests based on their firsthand knowledge. These requests, reflecting the genuine needs of the department, undergo careful consideration, and final decisions are subsequently presented to the Board of Directors for approval. The Foundation's Board of Directors makes these decisions following our steadfast mission and vision.
