The Oklahoma City Police Foundation (OKCPF) announced Sunday that it has received a $1 million grant from the Arnall Family Foundation. The funds will support renovations to a 12,500-square-foot facility that will house the Cornerstone Wellness Center.

The center, announced earlier this year, represents a proactive approach to public safety and will expand existing wellness efforts within the Oklahoma City Police Department.

“The demands placed on police officers today are extraordinary. We cannot ask for better outcomes without providing better support to the people who make those outcomes possible,” said Sue Ann Arnall, president of the Arnall Family Foundation. “A healthy justice system requires healthy practitioners. With the appropriate tools for mental and physical wellness, we can ensure that when an officer is on duty, they are able to show up as their best, most resilient selves.”

In addition to holistic wellness resources and a new wellness facility, the Cornerstone Wellness Center will serve as a permanent home for the OKCPD Wellness Unit, OKCPF Wellness offices, and ProTeam Tactical Physical Therapy, which will support both the Oklahoma City Police and Fire Departments.

“The Cornerstone Wellness Center is part of our vision to ensure the health and well-being of our police officers and professional staff. Recognizing this need and addressing the demand for more robust wellness services will help the men and women of the Oklahoma City Police Department better serve our community and ensure they live full and healthy lives at home, too,” said Jared Frazier, President and CEO of the Oklahoma City Police Foundation. “We appreciate the Arnall Family Foundation and their remarkable commitment to the well-being of those who serve our community. Their gift will help save lives.”

The facility that will house the Cornerstone Wellness Center was donated to OKCPF in December of 2025 by Terry and Jo Wiens, and renovations are already underway. OKCPF anticipates opening the facility later this year and is continuing to raise an additional $500,000 to complete the capital campaign.
